When someone dies, it is a sad thing for this family, yet, somewhere, maybe even close by, someone is giving birth to new life, or has just discovered they will soon have a new little one in there life. GOD is awear of both,HE both crys and rejoices in HIS creations. May your days be filled with HIS presence knowing HE is with you. ALl my love...Leslie

George was a good shipmate and I feel saddened to hear of his passing. I was a shipmate of his on the Skate in the late 60's. I did not maintain contact after my discharge in 68 but do remember him as a good man who was considerate to others and had kind smile and a willingness to sit and talk with others like good friends would chat. I don't remember all that many of my fellow sailors from forty plus years ago but George had the character and personality that made him special and quite memorable. My condolences to his family.

My belated condolences to the family. I have a lot of memories as an impressionable teenager growing up next door to such an enigmatic personality. I hold those memories of Kenelm Court very dear.
