Glen Martin departed this life in Newport News Nursing and Rehabilitation Home on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to William and Maude Martin.

His father, William, and son Glen Jr. preceded him in death.

He loved working on cars as a hobby. He was a backyard mechanic, go-to guy. His favorite NFL team was the Carolina Panthers. He would talk about this team forever, and dared anyone to say they weren’t worthy of praise. His last days were filled with the humor he brought to many of the nurses as they said he made them smile.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Loving Mother, Maude; Daughter Jessica; Son Andre; Grandchildren Latiek, Shatiek, Jatiek, Tymeek and Sanaii. Five Brothers, Allan, Jerome (Stephaney), Keith (Janet), Lester, Timothy (Sharon); Two Sisters, Brenda; Darlene and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

 He will be missed, but forever remembered by many.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
