I found Gloria to be quite a modern thinking woman for her generation. I enjoyed spending time with her with Laura. I especially remember going to the botanical gardens at Mothers day. Gloria quickly understood human nature and appreciated people. She will be missed. I wish I could have more botanical trips with her!!

Please accept my sympathies for your loss. Gloria was a high school friend in Lawrenceburg, TN. We shared some good times while being members of the LCHS band. Gloria played the french horn and she was very good! I remember going to my first "date-type" party at her house. I know that she will be missed by her children, friends, and relatives. In sympathy.

Gloria and I were good friends in high school and had a good time in band together. Sorry for her passing, but guess we all are getting there, too. I also grew up in Ethridge with your Dad, living down High Street down from their house. His dad, Van Jones, and my Dad, Carl Nix, had the same birthdate. My parents had the telephone exchange for many years in Ethridge. My condolences in your sadness.
