Chesapeake – Grace Sara Dante, 90 years young, passed Wednesday March 30^th. She was a native of Kenvil NJ and moved to Chesapeake VA three years ago to be near her only daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.

Grace was born in Hibernia, NJ to the late LeRoy and Sara Brown.

Grace excelled for over 36 years as the owner of the Grace-Marion Bridal Shoppe in Kenvil, N.J. Her eye for design and fitting expertise made many a NJ bride beautiful. She was married to the late Anthony “Tony” Dante.

Grace was her daughter’s best friend and confident, always accepting and saying the right thing. Grace always had a kind word to say about everyone and was loved by many. Her sense of humor will be missed.

She is survived by her daughter Pattyanne and son-in-law Dennis Krupp, granddaughter Jersey Ann, brother Calvin “Bud” Brown and many beloved nephews and nieces. She especially enjoyed the weekly dinners with Elmer. Lighthouse Point was her home for the last three years, making many beloved friends and happy memories. A service to celebrate her life will be at Lighthouse Point, 933 Cedar Rd. on April 9 at 2:00 PM. A memorial service and burial at the Holy Rood cemetery in NJ will be at a future date.
