He lived in Newport News for 63 years and worked at NASA for 28 years. His favorite pasttimes included carpentry and gardening.
He is survived by his children Rose Bowman (Charles), Jude Mantos (Larry), Mark, and Andrew (Bonnie), 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and his brother, Kenneth.
A private burial service will be held.
