Harmon Cary “Speedy” Bradley, 88, passed away February 11, 2011 at DePaul Hospital. A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Hubert 0. and Helen D. Bradley. He worked for the Norfolk and Western Railroad for 42 years and retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1982. He was a member of Azalea Baptist Church.
Speedy is survived by his wife of 68 years, Catherine W. Bradley; two daughters JoAnn Given Bruce and Betty Nixon; two granddaughters Genna Zapolsky Christopher and Amy Kern; one great-grandson, Zachary Zapolsky. He is also survived by one brother, Harvey H. Bradley Barbara, one sister-in-law, Helen Hall, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Jackie.
In lieu of flowers, a donation is appreciated to the Friends of Norfolk Animal Management Center.
