Henrietta “Hank” has been taken home by our Heavenly Father to be with her parents, Virginia and William Mattics; six brothers and sisters; her daughter, Kathryn Susie Bailey; and son in law, George Slick Davis. She leaves behind a sister, Neva Arostegui; and children, Sheryl Davis, Pamela and Brian McCann, Sandra Roberson, Deborah and Mike Whittington, Stephanie and Mahmoud Faridi; twelve grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Hank was born in La Junta, Colorado and settled in Newport News, VA. She attended Riverside School of Health Careers in the 1970s and had a fulfilling career with Riverside Regional Medical Center until her retirement.
The family would like to acknowledge the support and services of Riverside Hospice, and Nurse Nikki Dame, who was very supportive of Sheryl and son, Nicholas Davis who cared for her and helped them provide for her comfort and care until she left us.
