Henry W. “Hank” Jarrett Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia died March 15, 2022 at the age of 97.  Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Hank was an Army veteran of WWII.  He was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Julia Ellen.

An Aeronautical Engineer from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, he retired as an Operations Analyst for the Strategic Air Command after 30 years of service in 1980. He was a member of Great Neck Baptist Church where he was a Deacon who loved bible studies, preparing lessons, and teaching Sunday school.   He was a wonderful, loving father.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, Hank, along with his wife, Deborah, of Virginia Beach, and his son, John of Fresno, California.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
