It was my pleasure to know your parents...in your Mom's little study group...wonderful people that always taught love....

To Pete, Phylis and family, My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your father and grandfather. I remember Woody so lovingly as such an honest, warm, and funny man. He could also call it like he saw it, too, and I especially admired him for that. He was not a person who needed to be in the limelight and he knew how to keep his own council, but when he had something to say - better sit up and listen, because it was always good advice. He was a doer, not someone who talked about it. And what patience! A good and honorable man. God bless you, Woody, on your way home, - and thank you for giving so deeply of yourself to all of us who were blessed to know you. Warm Regards, Pat "Cathreen" Cockrell Greensboro, NC

Dear All; Its an end of era for me and that part of my life, what an adventure it was. Woody and Ruth were instrumental in so many ways in all of our lives. We were touched by their love and their wisdom. Their legacy will live on though our many life times. Pete let me know a couple of days ago on Face Book.... hardly personal but fitting that the world should have a glimpse of our Woody. I know Woody used his last 9 years to integrate his life, and to do what he wanted to do after serving Ruth for so many years...and he truly did. I have learned that this is what unconditional love might really look like. Woody painted my first office and both Ruth and Woody were there for me over the years to help guide me along in a path of being conscious in life and in business. A life changing gift! I miss you Woody, you were always there for me. Heartfelt Wishes for Pete and Family. Mary Louise Starkey
