Delivering mail downtown Portsmouth I would always see Hester walking to the library and to church. She always took the time to stop and talk to me always caring about my family and me and sharing stories about her and her family. I made a dear friend in her and will miss her great smile and kind heart. I know she is at peace now and smiling down on me.

Michel W Smith has a song, "friends are friends forever if the Lord is Lord of them, though its hard to let you go in the father's hands we know that a lifetime's not to long to live as friends." I will always miss Hester, but i know she lives on forever! May God bless her family and other many friends.I am so thankful that I got to know her.
