Hsiu Wei Sang, 86, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022.  He was born on February 10, 1936, in Shanghai, China to Fa Yuan Sang and Xiao Bao Shao.  He was the eldest of five children.

Hsiu Wei graduated from the Chinese Military Academy of Taiwan and was discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Taiwanese Army Infantry in 1974.   After retirement, he enjoyed reading, mahjong, and travelling.

On January 7, 1966, he married Hsi Chuan Hsu, his wife of fifty-six years, whom he is survived by.  He was the loving father of Ron, Stephanie (Ed) and Matthew and will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter, Giada.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 1 at 1:30 pm at Peninsula Chinese Baptist Church, located at 3800 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown VA, 23692.

桑修威先生于2022年12月26日在纽婆纽斯，维吉尼亚平安离世，享年86岁。  生于1936年2月10日中国上海。父亲桑发元，母亲绍小宝。兄弟姊妹共5人。

桑修威毕业于台湾陆军军官学校。于1974年退役时为陆军步兵中校。退休后，他喜欢阅读，打麻将，研究股票和旅游。

于1966年1月7日，桑修威与徐锡荃女士喜结良缘，夫妻56年互相扶持。共同孕育子女三人，大儿子桑史荣，女儿桑玉雯 （女婿爱德），小儿子桑史华。也是孙女嘉妲记忆中最 疼爱她的公公。
