She was born in Songtan City, South Korea on September 11th, 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents Chong Tae So and Kim Sun Hui and survived by her two daughters, Christina and Mary and their father Douglas Owen.
Hye Sok was a loving mother with a generous heart and a devoted Christian who dearly loved Jesus and was active in her local church. She was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind many memories of love, laughter, and joy.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday November 5th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at New Life Presbyterian Church.
Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
