Harv Hofferbert passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to Calvert Theodore Hofferbert and Leona Welty Hofferbert, both deceased. He was predeceased by his brother, Ted Hofferbert.

Harv is survived by his wife Jane A. Hofferbert, sister Holly A. H. Castelli (Randy), sister-in-law Robyn Hofferbert, sister-in-law B. J. Larmore (William), brother-in-law Crews Averette, nephews Noah Larmore (Cathy), Jon Castelli, Nick Castelli, and Sam Castelli (Haley), niece Neill Kimball (Rob), and great nieces Ella Larmore and Zoe Castelli. In addition, Harv left behind many cousins with whom he had special relationships throughout his life.

Harv graduated from Wake Forest University and upon graduation was employed by the suite hotel Guest Quarters. His employment at Guest Quarters went from serving as lifeguard to developing hotels for Guest Quarters in the eastern part of the country. He managed rental properties in the later part of his life.
