Virginia Beach – J Herbert Walls Jr. passed away peacefully on March 10, 2017 at home with his daughter and niece by his side. He was 83 years old. Herb was also known as “Sonny” by his family and childhood friends.
Survived by his daughter Dawn Worells, son-in-law Paul Worells, brother Charles Walls, and stepson Chris Prilliman, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Herb owned and operated Walls High & Dry marina for over 30 years, avid hydroplane boat racer, loved photography, dining out, dancing and traveling with family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at noon at the Vineyard Community Church, 4444 Expressway Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23452 reception to follow.
