Virginia Beach- James M. Broaddus III, 58, passed on Aug. 24, 2017. He was born in Alexandria, VA on Jan. 16, 1959 to J.M. Broaddus and JoAnn Broaddus Beers. He graduated from Bayside H.S. and attended ODU. He played guitar in many garage bands. He continued playing guitars and composing until cancer stopped him. Jim was employed for 38 years by Aetna Insulated Wire Inc.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his mother, JoAnn Beers; and a sister, Cynthia B. Rose (Tom) of Fredericksburg, VA. Jim also has a niece and nephew who called him “Mr. Fun.†He was loved and will be missed.
