Jane Ann Breckler, aged 78, passed away on October 30, 2024, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on December 15, 1945, in Danville, Ohio, Jane was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Betty Breckler.
Jane spent her early years in Danville, where she graduated from Danville High School. After completing her education, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a Police Dispatcher at the Chesapeake Police Department, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.
In addition to her work, Jane had a passion for sewing, alterations, knitting, and crocheting. She was exceptionally skilled with her hands, creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to many. A devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, Jane also found great pleasure in listening to country music.
Jane was preceded in death by her sisters, Judie Llewellyn and Joan Anderton. She leaves behind her cherished brother, John Breckler, and his wife, Fran, of Ohio, as well as her dear sister, Kathryn Johnson, widow of Ron of Virginia, and their two children.
The family invites friends and loved ones to gather in remembrance of Jane’s life on November 8, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, located at 5401 Indian River Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Jane’s gentle spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
