Jane Draper, 80, went to be with our Lord on December 1, 2023, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Jane began her life in Kansas before her family followed her grandparents to Vallejo, CA where she graduated high school. Later in life, her journey turned eastward to Virgina Beach, VA. Using social media platforms, Jane maintained close relationships with many distant friends, family members, and coworkers after her retirement of over 25 years with Virginia Beach Risk Management.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, Irma and Virgil Strunk, sisters Carolyn Biddinger and Jean Wallace, and her  brother David Strunk.  Jane is survived by her husband Bill Draper and her siblings Kathy Strunk-Lott, Steve Strunk, Kristy Strunk, Charles Strunk, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jane is also survived by her dear friend Joe Watson, whom she took on the role of mother, in addition to his wife, Nichole, and their two sons, Austin and Houston, for whom she took on the role and title of Grandma.

Many friends join the family in mourning the loss of our beloved Jane.

Jane’s journey does not end here. Jane lives on through the blessed memories that are treasured by all who knew her.

Jane’s final wishes were carried out by the Cremation Society of Virginia and her interment will be in the Rose Garden in Skyview Memorial Lawn Mortuary, Vallejo California.
