Jeannette was born and raised in Virginia Beach and never strayed far from the ocean’s side. Throughout life, she created cherished memories with her family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, often reminding others, “you can never have too many people love you.”
Jeannette left this life loved by countless family and friends, but particularly by her son, Jason Bazemore, and daughter-in-law, Sarah Bazemore; daughter, Julie Bazemore; and three granddaughters: Gabby Rose, Samantha, and Charlotte.
Jeannette had a long career working for Robert Jones’ legal office and Ken Reid, Inc., where she was known for her work ethic, problem solving skills, and witty sense of humor. Jeannette was a skilled seamstress and created beautiful handmade clothing and toys for family and friends. She had a deep appreciation for an ocean breeze and warm sand; Jeannette wore flip flops whenever possible and never gave up the chance to pet an animal or pick up a seashell.
Per Jeannette’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
For those looking to honor Jeannette’s memory, take a walk on the beach, pet a cat, enjoy a sunset, or listen to some 70s Classic Rock. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Lil Roar Cat Rescue, Virginia Beach.
END OF THE LINE
Well, it’s alright, ridin’ around in the breeze
Well, it’s alright, if you live the life you please
Well, it’s alright, doin’ the best you can
Well, it’s alright, as long as you lend a hand
…
Well, it’s alright, even when push comes to shove
Well, it’s alright, if you got someone to love
Well, it’s alright, everything’ll work out fine
Well, it’s alright, we’re going to the end of the line
…
Well, it’s alright, even if you’re old and grey
Well, it’s alright, you still got something to say
Well, it’s alright, remember to live and let live
Well, it’s alright, the best you can do is forgive
Well, it’s alright (alright), riding around on the breeze
Well, it’s alright (alright), if you live the life you please
Well, it’s alright, even if the sun don’t shine
Well, it’s alright (alright), we’re going to the end of the line
