Jeffrey Alan Kidd passed away peacefully at his home on May 22, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 67. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Diane and Walter Kidd. Also preceding him in death was his nephew, Joshua Kidd.
Jeffrey joined the United Sates Navy in 1976 and proudly served his country for three years. He found joy in fishing, golfing, and tending to his garden, having just recently planted a tomato garden that brought him much satisfaction. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to ODU games with Joy and Brayden. Jeffrey also loved going to his new church, Tab.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Mary Anna Bright. He also leaves behind his cherished daughter, Hillary Elizabeth Kidd, and bonus daughter, Joy Lynn Bright. Jeffrey was a proud grandfather to Brayden Thomas, Everleigh Rose, and bonus grandsons, Thomas Only Bright and his wife, Becky, and Derek Daughtry and his wife, Ariel.
