Jerold “Jerry” Von Lindern– Virginia Beach

Jerold “Jerry” Von Lindern originally from Post Falls, Idaho passed away on Thursday, April 27th 2017 at Sentra Leigh Hospital with family at his side.
Jerry was born on December 6, 1947 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Doyle and Norma (Lanter) Von Lindern. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brother’s Jim and Larry and his sister Pat. Jerry was a proud veteran of the US Navy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years Joyce, his daughter Aubrey of Woodstock, Virginia, his sister Sheila also of Virginia Beach, his brother Mike of Post Falls, Idaho, his sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Mark Cragg of Virginia Beach and niece Dana Cragg of Petersburg, Virginia, “adopted” daughter Marsha Hyatt, his much loved Schnauzer, Gunther and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. Also many, many Virginia Beach girl (now grown) soccer players that he coached for many years at all levels, mentored and cared about always.
Private services with family will be held at a later date. Remembrances of Jerry may be made to The National Stroke Association or The American Society for The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
