Jerry D. Wright II, 55, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on March 21, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Wright; step-son, Christopher Rash; father, Jerry Wright; sister, Christy Harris; brother, Matthew Wright; and beloved dog, Rose.

Jerry will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor. He was extremely personable and a joy to be around. He enjoyed building Lego with Teresa, playing video games, attending conventions, and cosplaying. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Per his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Cremation Society of Virginia. Please share a memory or offer condolences below.

I'll miss talking to you back at work, hanging out with you at the convention, gaming with you, and being able to talk to you. A lot of people at work didn't know you well, but you were always a nice guy. You had your rough moments, but you were always nice and cool to people. I'll miss ya, my man. My condolences to your family.

Jerry (Cosmo) and I had several classes together in Jr High and High school. I had hoped that he was going to be at our 35th class reunion and wasn't. I've thought of him often over the years, I was just too lazy to reach out to him to reconnect. That's my fault and now I don't have that option. Lesson learned. Brother, you will be remembered. Prayers for your family and friends.

Jerry (Cosmo) was a sweet friend. In high school he was always known for being very funny but when you needed a friend, he was there. He will be missed!!

Sending My prayers to Jerry’s family. Jerry was really a people person, he had so many stories he had told me working together, as we held the grill down. He came a long way from when we first met at Sentara. I know he’s in peace now with no more pain with his legos he loved and Star Wars with of course rocking his Dallas Cowboys jersey. You will be missed.

My condolences goes out to the family keeping you all in prayer I only knew Jerry for a short period of time as we worked together at SPAH in the cafeteria he always had many story he would talk about from his younger days and his dinners out with his wife that he enjoyed always brought excitement to us at work he definitely will be missed RIP my friend!
