Virginia Beach – Our Father in Heaven called home one of His children, Joan Marie Lindsay, on August 16, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, James A. Lindsay, 1 sister, 3 daughters, 2 sons, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Joan loved life, her family, animals, and especially the Lord. She enjoyed reading, gardening and her crafts. Joan was an instant friend and will be missed by all. Her time on this earth was too short, but she will live in our hearts forever.
A private memorial service will be held on August 21, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cremation Society of Virginia in her name. Online condolences may be expressed to www.cremate.org.
