Jocelyn M. Gulrud Virginia Beach

Jocelyn Marie Brooks Gulrud, 68, went home to our Lord God on August 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Clarence G. Brooks and Mrs. Laurette R. Brooks. She is survived by her loving husband Ret. Master Chief Petty Officer Douglas C. Gulrud and her four children and their families; daughter Julie Bailey Micky and son Ryan, daughter Michelle Jenkins Matt and daughters Emma and Madelyn, son Mark Gulrud Amber and children, Mark Jr., Kassadi, and Conar, son Paul Gulrud Megann and children, Craig, Emileigh and Shelby, brother G. Adrien Brooks, sister-in-law Mary Brooks and their children, nephew Roger Brooks Peggy and daughter Molly, niece Elishia Brooks . She was an active member and past president of the LA FRA Unit 60, Ocean View and a member of VFW Post 4809 Ladies Auxiliary, Norfolk, VA. She was a dedicated servant to the Lord and was a member of Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. A memorial Mass will be held there on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 10:00 am. We have lost an amazing woman and heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Jocelyn will be missed by all.
