My condolences to the family. He was a good shipmates and friend. RIP.
I had the good fortune to work with him at St. Juliens Creek for a few years. One of the best persons I have ever met. He was a hard worker who had a unique way of looking at the world. He always made me laugh. He will be truly missed. God Bless.
My heart felt condolences to his family, may God rest his soul.
The way I figure it, God must have needed a Mr. Fix It and called John home. Learned a ton from him and all good memories. Fair winds and following seas to you John.
John, you were great to work with. I will miss you and wish your family well.

My condolences to the family. John was a great person. First met John in 1991 he was doing installs for the Coast Guard. I remember sending John and his team to Miami and it was over Coast Guard Day and the Communication Station invited them to the celebration and all John could talk about after that was horseshoes, free beer and food, what more could you ask for. John will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I'm so sorry for your loss. John was what my late husband Anthony Dioguardi called "a good egg." We knew him from our days at St Juliens Creek. He was sweetly sarcastic and gave us lots of smiles.
We have many fond memories of John. What a wonderful sense of humor and he always offered a kind word. God bless Marsha and the entire Broms Family.
I only met John the one time when we had our cousins reunion and took over his house. In spite of all that he was very warm and friendly to us and was fun to be around.
Remember the good times and hang on to the family during this time of grief.
My condolences to the Broms Family. It has been awhile but I really enjoyed working with him.
Sending our deepest condolences. God Speed Mr. John
Dear Marsha and family, It's not easy to find the words to help you heal, but maybe by sharing a story about John would help. He was a wonderful fixer upper! He could build and fix just about anything, trying was the fun part. He was to kind to help Carl with the renovation of our home in Chesapeake years ago. Carl still shares stories with me when they worked together. May you have peace and grace at the time.
To the Broms Family. My Love. What wonderful memories I have, working with John. Will think of you always with Love. Save a spot up there for me. Joyce
Marsha and the entire Broms family....Rod and I are so very sorry to not have John in our lives anymore. He was a great father, step-father, grand father, brother-in-law, friend and husband. We will truly miss him.
God Bless John and everyone who new him. He will be missed by many
I worked with John off and on for the last 25 years, and the only time I ever heard him raise his voice in anger, it was in defense of his crew against unreasonable demands. He was a positive influence in the world, and we are diminished by his absence.
Fair winds and following seas, shipmate -- we'll miss you!
My prayers are with you at this sad time
God Bless you Marsha and your family. I know John will be dearly missed. God is your comforter in you time and need. Peace be with you and your family.
Friends for fifty years, John, really gonna miss ya'. We all are. I know you're fishing in calm seas now. Save me a spot in the boat, buddy.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
