John was one of those rare and gifted individuals who gave us laughter and never-ending amusement at his perception and viewpoint on most things while doing a tough job - helping protect the traveling public. He showed all of us how to love life and be happy around people. He is sorely missed here, but I know he is in a place in Heaven that he undoubtedly already has chuckling with his never-ending stories and jokes.

It goes without saying that since I retired from TSA I have missed a lot of the people I worked with since we started back in 2002. John was a special person that always had an opinion on one thing or another but mostly he was an individual and believed in what he was doing for the public safety. His red face, gray hair and smile will be how I remember him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
