John Lawrence Hagerty 67 passed away in his home on January 7, 2011. John was born in Philadelphia on July 29, 1943. He leaves to cherish in his memory two sons, Ryan Hagerty and his wife Lindsay of Seaford, Seth Hagerty and his wife Kristin of Va. Beach.; two daughters, Erin Lulu Hagerty of Va. Beach, Stephanie Angelopoulos and her husband Nick of Va. Beach. He also leaves behind his ex-wife Joyce Hagerty; and his grandkids who meant the world to him, Christina, Daniel, Brittany, Alex, Kylee, and Brenden. In addition to family and friends he also leaves behind a brother, Dan Hagerty, of California. John is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Katherine Hagerty, his brother Bob, his sister Ginger, as well as a daughter, Debbie, and a son, John Jr.
A memorial service will be held on January 22 from 1-3pm at Heritage United Methodist Church located at 815 Baker Road in Va Beach. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cremate.org.
