John L. Padgett, 55, passed away December 16, 2010. He grew up in Batesburg, South Carolina. He was an Army Veteran, and was employed with Higgerson Buchanan. He took great pride in his Cherokee Heritage and shared that passion with everyone he met. He is survived by his children, Christina Padgett, Toby Padgett, Lynette Kennedy, Frank Moritz, grandchildren Robert Kennedy II, Don Moritz, Bryce Moritz, and sister Kathy Burgess.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1220 Hazel Avenue, Chesapeake, VA., 23325. “PA”, we miss you dearly.
