April 8, 1962 - March 17, 2025

Portsmouth, VA  –  John Michael Piovane, Sr., 62. died Monday, March 17, 2025 at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA.

John was born April 8, 1962 to the late John Rocco Piovane and the late Maryanne Matsick Piovane.  He was a US Navy Corpsman and loved his affiliation with the US Marine Corps.

He will be greatly missed by his family, extended military family and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held.  A full obituary will be published at a later date.  Cremation Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Office is assisting the family.  Condolences and memories can be shared at www.vacremationsociety.com.
