I was sad to hear of John's passing... John and Jane befriended me as I joined Harmony House Realty and shared some office space for several years. John was always so friendly and helpful, never to busy to share time with me and encourage me. I just didn't realize how much of a hero he was in his Naval service. He was a good man who loved his family and his country.

I served under him the whole time he was the CO of the Kennedy. I'm sure he didn't know who I was. He was a great commanding officer. I was sorry to hear of his passing and pray for his family.
