Joseph Keith Mashburn, SR. “Buddy” born December 23, 1941 passed away January 26, 2017, 76, born in Sanford, NC / Chatham County, resided in Smithfield, VA / Isle of Wight County.
Bud was an Electrician for 34 years for the Newport News shipyard, his favorite activities were golfing, spending the day with his family at the beach or on his boat, he competed in many pool and bowling tournaments, and enjoyed fishing with family and friends. He loved race cars, watching races and his favorite driver was # 3 dale Earnhardt sr.
Bud is Survived by his wife of 57 years, Joann Elder Mashburn of Smithfield, VA., his son Joseph Keith Mashburn, Jr of Gloucester, Va., his Daughter Pamela Murray of Carrollton, va., his son Allen Craig Mashburn of Raleigh, NC., and his grandson Jacob Marshall Mashburn of Gloucester, VA.
