Joshua was born September 15, 1978 in Norfolk, VA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Marie Bunch Skinner. He loved the beach and enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his father, Floyd E. Whitehurst of Suffolk, VA; brother, Bryan Michael Whitehurst of Kill Devil Hills, NC; step-brother, Daniel C. Whitehurst of Suffolk, VA; and several cousins.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Office, is assisting the family. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.vacremationsociety.com.
