Allan, John, Charlotte & Brian...my friendship with Joyce goes back to the 80s when I came to Talbot Park Baptist Church. She introduced herself at a breakfast there and ask me to sit with her and her family. For all these years she has truly been the best friend I could ever have. We've had lunches, suppers, craft festivals, and a festival trip. She was such a good listener and always gave me encouragement. My heart is empty and sad, but my friend is in Heaven with Jesus and out of her pain. That brings me joy. I have a feeling that one of her beautiful watercolor paintings of some Heavenly scene is in progress this very moment. What a wonderful friend.

Allan, Charlotte and John - Joyce was a Joy!!! A sweet, loving, dear person. Know that our prayers are with you as you go through this time of sadness. We rejoice knowing she is where there are no tears, no pain, only the loving arms of Jesus. She was a woman of great faith...an example to us all. She and I shared a common interest in books about the WWII era....I loved our conversations. We will miss her so at our book club meetings. Always a smile. God bless you all. May his infinite love and compassion give you peace.

Life's truest happiness is found in the friendships we make along the way. Since our early days at Granby Elementary, Joyce was always the nicest girl you could ever hope to meet. She was a wonderful friend to everyone. Our deepest sympathy goes to each one of you. Wishing you love and happy memories, Robert & Lee Byrum

With my deepest sympathy to Joyce family. Joyce was such a beautiful and the finest woman I've ever know since I came to TCC. I will surely miss her and knowing that she is already in a home in heaven, takes the pain away in my heart. Her memories will always be remembered and cherish and will keep her in my thoughts and prayers always.

Sadness doesn't even begin to describe this feeling, however, knowing that you are better takes away some of the pain. I'm so thankful for the last 5 years and for the opportunity to wake up five days a week to your smile. You are and will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. To your family, thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful woman.
