Joyce Quick Trigg passed away on February 27, 2011 at her home in Atlantic Shores after a brief illness.
Joyce was the fourth child of Jabez and Lillie Quick and was born in Blairstown, NJ on May 25, 1919. After high school she worked at The Prudential Insurance Company home office until her marriage in 1940.
Joyce was married to the late Brig. Gen. Ret Thomas K. Trigg III for 59 years, 35 of which she functioned as a good Army wife, and loved it.
She is survived by son Tom and his wife Mary; daughter Joyce and her husband Bill; and son Chris and his wife Judy.. Joyce also leaves 6 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
There will be a service at the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Atlantic Shores Employee Gift Fund, c/o Joyce Blanton, 4309 Blackthorne Ct, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
