Jude C. Harris, Jr. passed away April 8, 2023 at home in Cape Charles, VA. Jude was born November 15, 1953, to Jude C. Harris, Sr. and Ruth Madeline Harris in Amelia County, VA. He was a graduate of Amelia High School in Amelia County, VA. He enjoyed his work with the New Roots Garden in Cape Charles and the Food Pantry in Cape Charles.

Jude was married to Dennis Saidat. Jude is survived by his husband, Dennis, a son from a previous marriage, a sister, two brothers, and many loving friends.

A memorial service will be held to honor his life on May 20, 2023, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Cape Charles, VA at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Roots Garden, 602 Jefferson Ave, Cape Charles 23310, or the Cape Charles Food Pantry, 221 Monroe Ave, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
