It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Lynette Osborne, 66, who left this world on November 18, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karen was born on June 22, 1957. She was the oldest of four children born to the late Charles and Dorothy Carr. She was predeceased by her Sister Tammy Love Barker.

Karen was a dedicated Bartender at the Ocean View Democratic and Social Club for over 30 years where she was cherished by everyone who ever met her. Karen was devoted to the Demo Club and to all the members who became close friends. She was recently named a Lifetime Member for her many years of dedication.

Karen was known for her delicious Chicken N Dumplings which everyone loved and will miss, her handmade arts & crafts which she would give as gifts to her family and friends, and her love of Betty Boop. Karen was always thinking of others.

Karens’ greatest joy in life was her family. She was a Loving Wife, Devoted Mother, Adoring Mee Maw and Mommy to her Precious Dog Polly.

She is survived by her Husband, Garry Osborne; Sons Steve and Life Partner Amy Gutterman, Charlie and Wife Autumn, Brad and Wife Virginia; Granddaughters Alyssa and Alexis; Brother Jimmy Carr and Wife Lu Ann; Sister Ronda Holliday; Daughter-In-Law Maria Gower; Special Aunt Sarah Ann Briggs Stewart; and many Dear Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00pm for family and special friends at Redeemed Church of God, 1300 Jackson Ave, Chesapeake, VA 23324.

Karen was loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. We will always treasure our memories of her forever.
