Katherine was one of our contract specialist interns in acquisition here at our command. Although I didn't know her personally, she was well thought of and liked by all of her peers and superviors. We are truly stricken with grief to have one of our own leave us so soon. She will truly be missed but her memory remains. God bless you and your family in your time of sorrow.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We are all very sad to loose Katherine. As the acquisition director when she was hired as an intern, I was impressed with her maturity, dedication to government service and kindness.

Katherine was a "Mountain Climber" with every step that she took. When I asked her, How are you today? I'm FINE SOFTLY spoken. She has reached the PEAK of the Mountain! Rest in Peace!

I know its too late for you to accept my FB friend request because you've accepted Gods request to go home with Him. I would like for you to know that I am glad to have had the opportunity to meet and work with you since June of this year. I know that we will meet face to face someday in the distant future. Today you have a new body with no pain or scars to remind you of the aweful disease that you battled daily. I will miss our conversations. Thanks for showing me how to do travel orders, set up my computer and for showing me how to pose for pictures.

Words cannot express what it feels like to see your obituary. I am so thankful you are not sick anymore & having to put on your brave face for the world. But I will miss you soooo much! 17+ years as friends just wasn't long enough. You were a remarkable friend and I will never forget the advice & insight you offered in my life. I am honored you chose to share your life with me and I will always cherish the times we talked and spent together. Keep me in check from your new, beautiful spot in the heavens, okay? Love always, L.

There are those on this side who must say goodbye - we will miss you. There are those on the other side who say hello - it is good to hold you again. For some a departure for others an arrival.May those who say goodbye look forward to a future reunion. May those who say hello rejoice in the presence of a loved one.Be at peace one and all.

I know this is really late. .I tried looking Katherine up several years ago. .obvious now why I couldn't find her. She was always the smart bean pole through elementary school.. Bit awkward.. But always so sweet. I met her ina bathroom at a bar several years ago and couldn't believe how beautiful and just as friendly she had become. My condolences to the family and friends. . We missed her at our 20th reunion this weekend. .She was honored though.
