Katherine “Kate” Le Blanc, 34, died peacefully on October 14, 2011 with her family and best friend by her side after losing her battle with cancer. She was born November 1, 1976 in San Diego, California, but was raised in Virginia Beach.
She was predeceased by her mother, Sharon Le Blanc and survived by her father, Gene Le Blanc; sister, Jennifer Le Blanc; and best friend, Mandy Webster, who had been by her side since high school.
Katherine was a devoted friend to many always willing to give of her time and lend a hand when needed. She was often the life of the party and always made sure everyone had a good time. As per her request, a private family memorial service will be held, and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on November 1st from 7-9pm at the Hilton on 31st Street and Atlantic Ave. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cremate.org.

But always so sweet. I met her ina bathroom at a bar several years ago and couldn't believe how beautiful and just as friendly she had become. My condolences to the family and friends. . We missed her at our 20th reunion this weekend. .She was honored though.
