Virginia Beach – Katherine Koropal, 81, passed on May 20, 2015. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Koropal; sister, Olga Rudolph; and nephew, P.J.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Teresa Agnew Walker and husband Dathan; nieces, Jamie and Tamie Agnew, Kim, Sandy and Lisa Koropal, and Alice Rudolph Pirraglia; nephew, Bobby Rudolph; grand-nephews, Isaiah and Elijah; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. She raised 3 generations starting with Terri (her sister), 2 nieces, Jamie and Tamie, and then Tamie’s 2 sons, Isaiah and Elijah.
She had a hard time leaving us. She was scared and worried about our well-being. We find peace in knowing that she is walking with Jesus in the garden, strong and pain free. We will miss her dearly and love her always.
Katherine loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed her reading and loved to watch “Dancing With the Stars”. In her photo above, as Kay would say, “Hurry up with my food. I could of read my whole book already. Hurry Up”!
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2pm in her home.
