It was my privilege to have Katherine as a student, and then as a colleague. She truly lived her life in accordance with her beliefs. We will never know how many lives she positively influenced. Whatever she did, she put God first in her life and she inspired and helped many.

I am honored to have known such a beautiful, wonderful woman. Ms. Allen was a dedicated caregiver to her mother, who resides at Beth Sholom Terrace. Her presence here will be missed by many, including staff and Residents.

Katherine, you were the first person to "reframe" as you would say…how I viewed relationships…especially mine with Jesus, the Father and Holy Spirit…..Thank you! Now I walk daily with my Lord here on earth and He is very personal and present. Thank you for always so gently correcting and loving me. Thank you for taking your time to listen to my ramblings and then shine your God given insight and wisdom into the darkness of my wrong thinking. I will miss our "catching up" conversations…the last of which was 3/22/14 for 57 minutes on the phone…..It was an amazing conversation…like a recapping of the last 22 years and how God had brought such amazing fruit in our family's life largely because of your influence! The fruit will continue and to God be the glory great things he has done!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My life dramatically changed when I met Katherine in 1984 and now it has diminished with her passing. But during our friendship, Katherine taught me many things about love and acceptance. I believe that Katherine leaves a legacy of love. Rest in Peace Katherine.. your time has come. I will miss you.

Heartfelt sympathy to all of those who will feel the loss of Katherine. We had the honor of meeting her for a brief time, but it was very evident that this truly was a person with a gift. It was very obvious that this was a person who had "it figured out". And now, she knows the secret.

May our Lord comfort you during this time of sadness. Katherine was a mentor of mine for a number of years and she was my 1st counselor. I believe because of her guidance I was able to press through in life and adjust in ways I couldn't before. May God Bless you.
