Keith Ransom Rourke

February 10, 1964 - June 11, 2021

Keith Ransom Rourke, age 57, of Hampton, VA, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2021.

Throughout Keith’s life, he worked at Jack’s Family Restaurant, Ft. Monroe Landscaping, Kiln Creek & TG’s Saloon. In 2006, Keith studied for and became a Master Electrician, which was his passion. Keith was also treasured at Village Thrift in Hampton for many years.

Keith enjoyed nothing more than a ride on his Harley to Buckroe Beach and loved to chase a good thunder storm at any time. Keith was a prankster by nature and loved to make people laugh.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley & Bob Rourke. Keith leaves behind his loving sister, Kathy Allen; his niece, Dana Allen-Knight and her husband, Booney Knight; Wayne & Lisa Allen; his twin girls, Jessica Leigh & Ashleigh Marie; many cousins; his best friend of 30 years, Billy Lovejoy; the Lovejoy Girls; and Hallie, along with fur babies, Bonnie & Clyde, Penny & Sophie.

Keith will be greatly missed by his kind words and full heart.

Kathy and Dana, my heart is breaking for you both. Keith was a good man that would give you the shirt off his back Never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He was just so loved and if you knew him then he loved you. He is with his Momma now and this world have lost someone so special. Go rest high on that mountain. My heart is truly broken ?I have lost a true friend. You are one of the kindest people with the most gentle generous heart that I have ever known. We’ve shared laughter and tears but above all else we shared friendship and love. Although over the years we did not get to see each other as much as we would have liked, I always knew when hurricane season came around I would see you at the beach! You like to chase a good storm as much as I did. It is never goodbye, only see you later. I will cherish our friendship and memories and you will live on in my heart forever. I have no doubt MeMa was waiting for you with open arms. Give everybody at the roundtable our love and save us a seat. I love you Keith Rourke.
