Keith ""Mac"" Wayne McLamb Sr.

Keith “Mac” Wayne McLamb, Sr., 61, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. A native of Virginia, he lived most of his life in Gloucester. Keith retired as a pipefitter with the Newport News Shipyard and spent much of his time helping the elderly by cutting their grass or assisting them in other ways. He loved to play online poker and playing with his granddaughter, Chelsea. He had no fear and was very courageous. He was a people person and no one was a stranger to him.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, William Elton McLamb and sister, Peggy.

Left to cherish is memory is his wife, of many years, Christie; four children, Keith Jr, Caitlyn, Collin and Jamie; three granddaughters; his mother, Vivian; brother, Elton; nephew, Jeff; niece, Kelly and many other extended family and friends.

So sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Keith was when they moved their Mama to be closer to Peggy. We all grew up together and had some good times. When were little the highlight of our summer was to go to Virginia. Keith had a kind heart and soul and made others around him happy. He LOVED his family and friends and will truly be missed by all.

Keith was a sweet guy,always smiling and never an unkind word.We saw him almost every day and it was always a joy.He will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him.The world will seem a little dimmer without him.God will have his hands full.

So sorry for your loss. Meet Mac 25 years ago at work and he worked for me on back shift 2 years ago. We had long talks of the work he did cutting grass and how much he cared about his family. Mac you will be truly missed. RIP my friend.
