Beyond his professional life, Kenneth’s heart belonged to music. As a talented keyboard player, he brought joy to many through his performances with The Tides, The Ken Reining Trio, El-John Show, and other ensembles. His music was a testament to his vibrant spirit and passion for life.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Kenneth cherished his time spent with his beloved wife, Vickie Reining. Together, they nurtured a loving family, raising two wonderful children, Kristen Wright and Kenny Reining. Kenneth was a guiding light in their lives, coaching them in soccer during their younger years and instilling values of teamwork, perseverance, and joy. His warmth and wisdom extended to his adored grandchildren, Jaxon Wright, Kennedy Wright, and Caroline Bradsher, all of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
Kenneth also shared a special bond with his sister, Judy Jedlink, with whom he enjoyed countless moments of laughter and companionship. Their relationship was a pillar of strength throughout his life.
As a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church, Kenneth found community and comfort, sharing his faith and kindness with those around him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elsie and Howard Reining, whose memories he cherished deeply.
Kenneth’s enduring legacy lives on in the hearts of his surviving family and friends, including his wife Vickie, his daughter Kristen and her husband Corey Bradsher, his son Kenny Reining, his sister Judy Jedlink and his niece Jamie Smith and nephew Randy Jedlink, and his beloved grandchildren Jaxon, Kennedy, and Caroline.
The family is planning a celebration of Kenneth’s life at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, where they will honor his memory and the profound impact he had on those who knew him.
