Tommy, Sally, Pepper, Mother Ingram, Laura and Family. It was a joy to grow up with Ray in Malibu. We were wild and free and living out the last glorious days of American hippiedom. I remember when we sent Tommy off to the Army, and that son of a gun ended up in Hawaii! Better than Vietnam by far. When we'd watch Ray Sr. tweak the carburetor of some new hot rod in the driveway at Kim Terrace, it felt like being on the flight line at Oceana. Oh the roar! Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The universe welcomes you back. Peace

I too play baseball with Ray back in the day. The words that come to mind when I think of Ray are: Great hair, fast, athlete, good guy. Ray was a stud but never made anyone feel like a lesser person, he was just a good person. I wished I had kept up with him after school and this certainly makes me think about reaching out to old friends. I pray his family finds peace.

To Laura, Mel and Mrs. Hutcheson(Mrs. Ingram at the time) our heartfelt sympathy. I remember Ray and Ken(Mr. Ingram to me) from Coastal Engine where I delivered parts. Both Ken and Ray were always smiling, always seemed happy and always busy! I think I met the whole family through the years I delivered there. Laura, I remember Ray kept a picture of you on the office wall in a bikini and Mel you were always so sweet and there were pictures of all the family on that wall. Oh the smiles! I hope that you can continue to smile and be blessed in life as you remember Ray as a good husband, father, son and brother. Our condolences on the loss of a great man. Angie & Tom Messer

I played baseball with Ray and we shared many good times together. I remember how fond he was of Melissa and Sally, they were the apple in his eye. He was so full of life and so much fun to be around. We lost contact over the years but I thought about him often and will miss him dearly. He and I were pitchers on our little league baseball team and I will always remember every time he threw the ball his hat would fly off . Good bye Ray and thanks for being my friend. I will never forget you!!
