He is survived by his daughter Rachel Elizabeth Austin and friend Kassie Sheffler; his parents Kenneth and Eleanor Cindy Austin; his brother Kristopher and wife Lauren Austin and their children Nicholas, Jacob, Lucas and Grace; his cousin Stevie Machen, who helped care for him; his girlfriend Phyllis Mason; his good friend Steve Creekmore; 4 aunts, 3 uncles and many cousins.
He was retired as warehouse manager for Tread Quarters in Norfolk. He was an avid motorcycle rider and certified motorcycle mechanic. He loved to fish, especially with his daughter.
A memorial service will be held Sat. Aug. 10th from 2-4 PM at New Temple Grove Ministries, 3972 S. Military Hwy. Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Fund at www.kidneyfund.org or 11921 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
