Larry W. Ambrose, 84, of Virginia Beach, died May 22, 2024. Son of J.D. And Lillie, he was born in Norfolk and was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Larry married his high school sweetheart, Beverly in 1960. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from BAE Systems, formerly NORSHIPCO, after 41 years of service.

Larry enjoyed golfing, fishing and family time. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 63 years, Beverly, sons Jeff (Rosario), Greg (Mindy), daughter Blair (Pam) and grandchildren Camille, Halle, Dawson, Jacob, Graydon, and sister Sandy (Ted).

A celebration of life will be held later in the summer.
