Laura A Mallison Neal lost her fight with cancer on the morning of July 9th 2010.
Laura was a devoted “Nana” who loved to watch her grandson play baseball and basketball and to go
hiking and geocaching with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband John, her children, Richard Nicholas, Wendy Holland, Steven Nicholas
and their spouses, Dawn, Kelly, and Jenifer, her much loved grandchildren Jordan and Jada, her mother,
Margaret Mallison and her sisters Carol Mantel and Vicky Friedrichs; and brother, Marty Mallison.
The family will gather in private to give each other support and say goodbye. In lieu of flowers please
make a donation to a local sports organization or a state or city park.
Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family, online condolences may be expressed at
