Continue ReadingLeanore LaLonde Kraft, 91, of Williamsburg, Virginia left this life on May 12, 2025. She was born April 30, 1934 in Washington, D.C. to Ira and Mary Bessie LaLonde.
She spent her early adult life as a wife and mother. Once the children were grown, she worked many administrative office jobs and pursued continuing education when she could. Later in life, she moved to Florida to work as a switchboard operator at South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center and enjoy the sunshine. After that, she joined her daughters in Williamsburg and loved attending the farmer’s market and walking in Colonial Williamsburg.
She was an avid gardener and a gifted artist. She loved the natural world and enjoyed walking in the woods, watching birds and spending time near the ocean.
She is survived by her four children. Rebecca Rector, Robert Kraft Jr., Richard Kraft and Cheryl Kraft.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
