Lee David Raimondi, 60, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024. Lee was born on January 25, 1964 in Williamsport, PA, the son of John D. Raimondi and Elizabeth M. Raimondi (née Tanchak).
Lee is survived by his sister-in-law, Joan Raimondi, his four nieces and nephews, Haley (Kent), Kristin (Brian), Anthony and John Raimondi, a great niece, Annaliese Raimondi, two great nephews, Leo and Emmett Phillips, and a half-brother, Todd Parker (Abby).
Preceding Lee in death are his parents, John and Elizabeth, and his two brothers, John K. and Paul Raimondi.
Lee graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1982, then went on to attend college at the University of Maryland where he studied business administration. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for the restaurant business. He managed multiple restaurants throughout Washington D.C. and Virginia until he opened his own establishment, “Boneheads Beach Bistro.” His restaurant, named after his beloved golden retriever Lacie–the original Bonehead–was located in Virginia Beach, VA where he resided for over 3 decades.
Lee loved the beach and spent countless summers sharing his love for the beach with his four nieces and nephews. Lee was intelligent, loved to read about current affairs, enjoyed the thrill of roller coasters and loved pizza. He was a dog lover and an enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He loved to laugh and his sense of humor was infectious.
A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Online condolences may be shared at www.vacremationsociety.com.
