Leigh Ann Bryan, 34, passed away August 14, 2023 at her home in Suffolk VA.
She is survived by her five year old son Logan Bryan, a step son Deven Kane, boyfriend and father of their son Buddy Kane, father Howie Bryan and step mother Kathy Bryan of Chesapeake, brother Casey Bryan (Stephanie) of Chesapeake, step-brother Robert Willis (Emily) of Virginia Beach, step-sister Holly Willis (Andrea) of Georgia, grandfather Bud Bryan of South Carolina, half-sister Cory Cooper of Georgia, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Leigh Ann had an old soul and was a music lover of many genres but most of all classic rock from a very young age. She was passionate about her career in marine construction as a project manager and had been a doting and loving caregiver to her grandparents Jack and June Haskell. But her most rewarding ‘career’ was being a full-time mom to Logan for the past 5 years. Leigh Ann’s life centered around her son. She grew up playing softball for the Hampton Roads Vipers as well as in high school and college. She passed her love of sports on to Logan, teaching him baseball, golf and basically any sport that included a ball. Logan called Leigh Ann his best friend, and that was true. He spent his days with his mother playing with their beloved dogs, swimming in the pool on hot days, jumping on the trampoline and swinging a baseball bat, with his father Buddy Kane. Leigh Ann left her son and family too soon and will be greatly missed.
Per her wishes she will be cremated, and her ashes will be given to her son to disperse when he is older and able to understand how much he meant to her.
