Lena Marie Adams passed away at home on April 23, 2025.  Lena was born on September 21, 1970.

Lena was preceded in rest by her granddaughter, Haiden Marshall, her father James M. Adams, Sr., her mother Shannon T. Stine, her stepfather Randy Stine and her sister Amber Bowman DeVarona.

Lena is survived by her three children, sons, Christopher James Cole, Troy Scott Marshall (Brooke), and daughter, Shayna Nichole Riesbeck (Seth).  Lena had four grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Oakley, Greyson, Blakley and Hailey.

Lena was the baby sister to two sisters, Audrey (Tony), Faye (Keith), and three brothers Bubba (Amanda), Tony (Denise), and Jimbo.

Lena leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We would like to thank Dr. Almeida and Medi Home Hospice for their excellent care provided to Lena.  A special thank you to her Nurses, Brittany and Tusia that not only provided her care but love, friendship and support in the most needed time of her life.

Lena’s greatest joy was being a grandmother.  She left behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by all that knew her until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 3, 2025 at 2pm at the Denbigh Church of Christ located at 205 Denbigh Blvd Newport News, VA followed by a gathering at the home of Faye and Keith Carr.
