Leo T. Damboise, Jr., 85, passed away at his home in Virginia Beach on February 17, 2021. He was predeceased by his son, Darrin Damboise.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Shirley Damboise; children: Corinne Varga (Thomas), Cynthia McCollough (Brian), Kelly Damboise (Pam), Jamie Damboise, and Renee Guidice (Nick); 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will take place in Leo’s hometown in Maine at a later date.

I am so sad to read this. I always loved hearing the many stories Shirley shared with me about her family, but her face especially lit up when she spoke of her soul mate and best friend, Leo. Many prayers and blessings with the entire family, but most of all for Shirley.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of my friend Leo. He was a hard worker and always made me laugh. Mr. Leo you were always fixing everything here at work and helped me lift things that were way too heavy . I’ll miss you dearly , I know you are fixing things and doing the same in heaven. RIP my friend.
